BA, Wentworth Institute of Technology

Sam studied architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2023 and a Master of Architecture in 2024. With a passion for conceptual design and creative problem-solving, Sam enjoys shaping projects from their earliest stages through construction. Inspired by the people around him and the opportunity to create meaningful spaces, he brings curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to the Red Barn team. Beyond the studio, Sam volunteers alongside his family at the Kimi Nichols Center, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and fostering independence and community inclusion. He also returns to Wentworth as a guest critic, sharing his perspective with the next generation of designers.

What makes you happiest outside of work?

Cooking and spending quality time with my partner.

Early bird or night owl?

Both (architecture school ruined my sleep schedule!).

If you weren’t doing this, what would your alternate career be?

I would still be somewhere in the building industry. I have always loved understanding how things go together, whether that means building it, demolishing it, or drafting it.
