This project was awarded with a Mayor Thomas Menino Legacy Award from Preservation Massachusetts in 2023. Restoration of an 1840 Greek Revival worker housing reversed decades of deterioration and insensitive alterations. Historically accurate windows, repaired masonry, and preserved interior trim reestablish the building’s architectural integrity, while modern systems and private kitchens and baths support contemporary living. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021, the project ensures the building’s continued relevance and longevity.
