CARPENTER’S COLONIAL
TIMELESS RESTORATION
A classic 1895 Colonial was reimagined with modern livability and enduring craftsmanship. The first floor was opened to create flow and light, while cedar shingles and salvaged beams reintroduced warmth and historic character. A custom gas fireplace and hearth anchor the main living space, complemented by a new mudroom and wet bar that bring function to daily life.
The kitchen—crafted by Pope Cabinets—features bespoke cabinetry, marble surfaces, and walnut accents that add natural richness. Exterior enhancements include a wave-shingle gable detail and new mahogany decking, while structural shoring throughout ensures lasting integrity.
Owner-builder Anthony Pizzo Carpentry self-performed all work, resulting in a renovation that honors the home’s heritage through meticulous craftsmanship and a timeless New England spirit.
