B.F.A., Interior Architecture, Endicott College

Madison focuses on finishes, fixtures, and the detailed interior elements that bring warmth and personality to a home. She brings experience in both residential and commercial work, most recently within a design/build setting, and has a strong understanding of how interior design decisions translate from drawings to the field. Her work supports Red Barn’s collaborative process by clearly communicating design intent—through thoughtful presentation boards and well-resolved documentation—from concept through construction.

What part of the design process lights you up the most?
Selecting fixtures and finishes and bringing them together through presentation boards. This is where ideas become tangible—combining materials, colors, and textures to create spaces that feel cohesive, personal, and intentional.

Think of a project you’ve worked on that captures Red Barn’s promise to “Come Home to Happy.”
A Victorian in Winchester stands out. The layering of textures and patterns made the space feel truly tailored to the homeowners and brought the design vision fully to life. Completing the home with curated furnishings and thoughtful details that reflected the clients’ personal style transformed it from a house into a place they genuinely loved coming home to.

Where do you usually turn for creative inspiration?
Conversations—especially with people whose perspectives challenge and inspire me. Thoughtful dialogue often sparks new ideas and helps me see design problems in a fresh way.

Another guiding principle at Red Barn is “Work Hard and Be Nice to People.” How do you try to bring that into your everyday?
By always doing my best and valuing the people I work with. Strong relationships and collaboration are essential to meaningful work and personal growth.

Outside of work, what makes you HAPPY?
Spending time with family and friends.
